Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the configuration and operation of cyber range or computer testbed environments.
• Expertise in designing and configuring computer networks including routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, and VLANs using bare-metal and virtualized systems.
• Proven enterprise network engineering experience for a distributed test range facility with policy/procedure planning.
• DoD 8140.03 IAT II requirements compliance.

Brief Description of the Work The Senior Network Engineer III leads all technical efforts concerning planning, development, implementation, problem resolution, and administration of MACC-TTE networks. This position serves as the primary technical expert regarding network system policy and short/long-range planning, defining future roadmaps, and making strategic recommendations based on alternative analyses.

Required Skills & Experience * Minimum 10 years of experience in the configuration and operation of cyber range or computer testbed environments.

• Expertise in designing and configuring computer networks including routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, and VLANs utilizing bare-metal and virtualized systems.


• Proven experience providing enterprise network engineering and support for a distributed test range facility, including creating and planning policies/procedures.


• Direct experience configuring and managing specialized Department of Defense nodes, such as the Joint Information Operations Range (JIOR) node among others. Desired Skills & Preferences * Experience working with wireless infrastructure supporting 802.11x, 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G wireless technologies to support range wireless networks.
