Job summary
Harbor East LLC in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a FULL-TIME Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure for reliable operations in logistics and maritime services. You will configure devices, monitor performance, and troubleshoot issues while collaborating with IT teams to integrate new technologies.
A Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in enterprise networking are required, with strong TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and security skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in network engineering for enterprise networks.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VPN.
- Experience with routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers.
- Cisco devices and network security experience required.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure to support operations.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies and systems.
- Implement security measures to protect the network from threats.
