Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• Seven (7) years of network experience required.
• Expert-level Cisco IOS and Arista EOS skills: advanced routing (OSPF, BGP), spine‑leaf/VXLAN‑EVPN fabrics, MLAG/vPC.
• Strong knowledge of data center architectures, SD-WAN, and cloud networking concepts.
• Proficient with network automation/scripting (Python, Ansible).
• Experience with firewall and security concepts beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data center switching/routing architectures (Cisco and Arista) including spine‑leaf fabrics, MLAG/VXLAN, and inter‑DC interconnects.
• Own physical capacity planning for data centers: rack/power/cooling forecasting and cabling standards.
• Manage relationships with co‑location providers and carriers, including SLAs and renewals.
• Lead data center build‑outs, expansions, and lifecycle projects coordinating facilities and security requirements.
• Own Aruba SD‑WAN architecture across the branch portfolio and policy design.
• Lead cloud connectivity initiatives (Direct Connect/ExpressRoute) with cloud/security teams.
• Serve as primary network contact for cross‑functional projects with Security, translating inputs for firewall and segmentation.
• Lead root‑cause analysis for major incidents and multi‑domain outages.
