Job summary

Resultant is seeking a Network Engineer to help solve clients' toughest problems through network design and implementation across datacenter and cloud.

You'll plan, deploy, and document architectures, mentor teammates, and collaborate with security teams to meet standards like NIST and SOC. Based in Indiana, this role supports clients nationwide with a collaborative, outcomes-focused culture.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless across data center and cloud.
• Leadership experience or potential; may grow to Lead/Manager.
• Technical certifications such as CCNP, NSE4-6, PCNSE, AZ-700 highly desirable.
• Expertise with LAN/WAN, MPLS, SD-WAN and routing protocols.
• Strong knowledge of network security incl. NGFW, IPS, IPsec VPN, SSLVPN.
• Experience with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, Google).
• Ability to plan, design, deploy scalable network architectures.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform strategic planning with clients to analyze projects.
• Deliver project commitments with team leads.
• Participate in daily planning, tracking, scheduling, and execution.
• Design and implement network architectures to meet objectives.
• Assess current networks to identify improvements via metrics.
• Design and build cloud networking solutions (Azure, AWS, Google).
• Install site network equipment (firewalls, switches, routers, wireless).
• Develop SOPs and documentation.
• Mentor team members on technical issues.
