Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to support the DOJ National Classified Services program. You will back the Justice Consolidated Office Network (JCON) and NSDNet, ensuring 99% availability across mission-critical operations.

You will tackle complex routing and encryption implementations connecting DC sites and remote CONUS/OCONUS locations. The role requires TS clearance with SCI eligibility, 8+ years in classified environments, and hands-on Cisco/Juniper expertise.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in network engineering in high-availability environments.
• Expert-level experience configuring Cisco and Juniper hardware.
• Proven experience in network address space management and routing schemes.
• Hands-on COMSEC experience, including Type-1 encryption devices.
• Proficiency with copper and fiber optic cabling.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, engineering, and administration of high-availability classified networks.
• Ensure 99% system availability for JCON and NSDNet.
• Manage complex traffic routing schemes and integrate with JUTNet.
• Plan, configure, and document network devices/topologies (Cisco/Juniper).
• Oversee deployment of Type-1 encryption devices per COMSEC.
