Job summary

Concept Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure Support team in Anchorage, Alaska. The role focuses on administering, operating, and maintaining a large enterprise network, with upgrades and improvements to wired and wireless capabilities.

Travel up to 25% to support remote sites across the United States, while maintaining 100% onsite presence in Anchorage. The ideal candidate has extensive Layer 3 routing experience (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, RIP), strong Cisco network

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field with eight years of IT experience, or 12 years without a degree.
• At least five years of experience supporting wired and wireless Cisco networks in large enterprise campus environments with multilayer routing protocols.

Responsibilities

• Administer, operate, and maintain the enterprise network.
• Perform infrastructure upgrades and improve wired and wireless networks.
• Optimize system operations and resource utilization.
• Perform capacity analysis and planning.
• Design and implement network engineering solutions per specs.
• Track and resolve network incidents via ticketing system.
• Follow maintenance windows and change-control procedures.
• Travel up to 25% to support remote sites; work 100% onsite in Anchorage, AK.
