Essential Functions

• Deploys and implements network system plans and designs that meet performance, security, and compliance requirements.
• Conducts network architecture design, feasibility studies, and cost analyses.
• Defines monitoring, maintenance, expansion, contingency, and recovery plans.
• Troubleshoots network issues and devises solutions, resources, and deployment processes.
• Keeps updated on emerging networking technologies.
• May hold vendor‑specific certifications.
• Network Administration responsibilities may include:

• Daily administration of network and server environments.
• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of system software.
• Monitoring network performance, troubleshooting, and deploying solutions.
• Documenting network issues and events using standard formats.
• Planning and implementing upgrades, patches, and new applications or equipment installation.
• Using scripting and basic programs to automate processes.
• Maintaining disaster recovery, security, backup, and restore plans.
• Evaluating new tools or equipment and performing analysis/feasibility studies for performance optimization.

Required Qualifications

• Education and Experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years’ experience.
• Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

• Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree.
• Discipline: Information Technology or related discipline.
