Work is performed independently, with considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments. The position requires participation in on-call and implementation duties during nights and weekends, as needed. Humana seeks a Senior Network Engineer who will deliver solutions for multi-platform network connectivity. This critical role within Humana's IT organization encompasses engineering and design, planning, implementation, and the establishment of operational and maintenance programs to deliver best-in-class, next-generation SDWAN and remote site infrastructure. Responsibilities include optimizing all aspects of the remote network ecosystem, such as performance, resiliency, availability, resource utilization, and innovation. Additionally, this position provides cloud network design, engineering, and administrative support for both physical and virtual networking devices within multi-platform environments. The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for leveraging highly available networking technologies in a heterogeneous environment.
