Summary Of Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure (Layer 2 & Layer 3).
• Automate network provisioning, device configuration, software upgrades, and remediation activities.
• Develop automation workflows and solutions using Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar tools.
• Integrate automation with REST APIs and CMDBs; support API-driven provisioning and configuration.
• Support hardware/software refresh, network migrations, and enterprise switch upgrades.

Required Skills/Qualifications

• ~10 years of hands-on network engineering experience (network engineer first, not primarily DevOps/software).
• Strong knowledge of enterprise network infrastructure, security, and data center design.
• CCNP-level networking knowledge (CCNP certification preferred; CCNA with strong experience considered).
• Expertise in Layer 2 and Layer 3 network design, access/distribution switching, and campus/data center/remote-site networks.
• Proven experience with network automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform, or similar).
• Strong troubleshooting skills for deployments, provisioning, refreshes, migrations, and designs.
• Experience integrating with APIs and automating infrastructure workflows.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Large-scale network refresh or modernization projects.
• Data center buildout and enterprise infrastructure project delivery.
• Automating refresh of thousands of network devices.
• REST API / CMDB integration experience.
• Navigating enterprise change management/governance.
• Spec-Driven Development (SDD) and AI-assisted automation tool exposure (e.g., Devin, Claude).
