Job summary

A prominent technology firm located in Pittsburgh is seeking a Senior Level Network Engineer with strong expertise in routing and switching, along with a CCNP certification. The ideal candidate must have at least 10 years of experience in enterprise-level network design and deployment, including troubleshooting complex network infrastructures. Responsibilities include assisting with the rebuild of the network infrastructure and integrating network equipment. Cisco ASA experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience with enterprise-level network design and deployment.
• Must have expert ability to plan, operate and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure.
• Current Cisco data networking certifications with at least CCNP certification.

Responsibilities

Job description

Senior Level Network Engineer that has CCNP with potentially a CCIE.

CCIE would specifically be within routing and switching

Must have extensive ability to work with routers and switches

Must have expert ability to plan, operate and troubleshoot complex network infrastructure

Candidate will assist internal IT team with the rebuild of Network Infrastructure

Configuration/integration of network equipment

Cisco ASA experience is a plus

10+ years' experience with enterprise-level network design and deployment

Proficient with the design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting and monitoring of core routing and switching, LAN/WAN/MAN services

Experience with Nexus 7k, 5K, 2K configuration and design

Experience with Cisco ASA Firewall

Protocols OSPF, BGP, EIGRP and other related technologies (Multicast, IP Video and IP Telephony).

Current Cisco data networking certifications with at least CCNP certification.

Experience working in large enterprise networks is desired. The ability to work under pressure and interface with senior management will be key to these roles
