Job summary

Gensler is seeking an accomplished Network Architect in the United States to lead the design and deployment of global network platforms from conception through optimization. You will align architectures with strategic business goals and drive scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions.

Responsibilities include crafting roadmaps, evaluating new technologies, and coordinating with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into robust designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of experience in building and maintaining Global network platforms
• Proficiency with automation and scripting (Python, Ansible, etc.) to improve network efficiency and reliability
• Ability to integrate cloud networking components such as VNets, VWan, Peering, Gateways, and security groups
• Understanding of network services TCP/IP, UDP, DNS and DHCP
• Strong knowledge of Layer 3 technologies IP, ARP, IPSec, SVI's, HSRP, and BGP
• Strong knowledge of Layer 2 technologies STP, LACP, CDP, VTP, port channels, PoE
• Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and provide root cause analysis
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work on projects simultaneously and balance conflicting demands
• Excellent understanding of computer, security, network and storage systems
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
• Manage and adhere to change control processes to ensure proper implementation and minimize disruptions
• Understanding of the ITIL process
• Willingness to participate in on‑call rotation
• Excellent leadership and decision‑making skills
• United States citizenship for government project administration
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent
