Onsite in Fort Worth, TX
CornerStone TTS is seeking an accomplished Senior Network Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity supporting a complex, enterprise-scale network environment.
This position is ideal for a hands-on infrastructure professional who can design, secure, troubleshoot, and optimize mission-critical networks across data center, campus, branch, wireless, and remote-access environments. The selected engineer will serve as a senior technical resource and Tier 3 escalation point, working across Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, Aruba, Meraki, and Cradlepoint technologies.
What You’ll Do
- Design, configure, maintain, and optimize enterprise routing and switching environments using Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms.
- Support highly available campus, data center, and branch network architectures, including VLANs, trunking, spanning tree, dynamic routing, redundancy, and failover.
- Manage software-defined branch and edge connectivity through the Cisco Meraki dashboard.
- Configure and administer Palo Alto firewalls, including security policies, NAT rules, application controls, threat-prevention profiles, URL filtering, SSL decryption, and network segmentation.
- Support F5 BIG-IP infrastructure, including Local Traffic Manager, Global Traffic Manager/DNS, virtual servers, pools, health monitors, traffic profiles, SSL certificates, and secure remote-access VPN services.
- Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot Aruba enterprise wireless environments, including wireless controllers, access points, authentication, roaming, RF performance, and guest access.
- Develop and maintain network access-control policies through Aruba ClearPass, including 802.1X authentication, role-based access, device profiling, guest access, and posture enforcement.
- Manage Cradlepoint cellular connectivity and NetCloud Manager environments supporting primary, backup, and failover WAN services.
- Lead advanced troubleshooting efforts involving routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, wireless connectivity, authentication, VPN access, latency, packet loss, and application availability.
- Analyze network traffic and system behavior using packet captures, logs, monitoring platforms, and vendor diagnostic tools.
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, hardware refreshes, migrations, change-management activities, and network-resiliency initiatives.
- Create and maintain network diagrams, configuration standards, operating procedures, troubleshooting documentation, and knowledge-transfer materials.
- Serve as a Tier 3 escalation resource and provide technical guidance to network operations, infrastructure, security, and application teams.
