Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Senior Network Developer to drive the full network lifecycle—from design validation to deployment, expansion, automation, and operational support across OCI regions and AI infrastructure.

You will lead large-scale spine-leaf deployments, develop new runbooks and MOPs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure on-schedule delivery. The role emphasizes automation, AI-assisted tooling, and strong incident response in a fast-paced cloud environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Electrical Eng, or related field.
• Experience in hyperscale cloud, ISP, or large enterprise networks.
• Strong data-center networking architecture knowledge.
• Proficiency with routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, IPv4, IPv6, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Hands-on Ethernet platforms including Broadcom and NVIDIA/Mellanox hardware.
• Experience with Internet peering and large-scale network operations.
• Python or other language for network automation.
• Familiarity with YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF, gNMI.
• Telemetry, observability, monitoring and performance analysis.
• Security principles and high-availability architectures.
• Excellent troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
• Experience with AI-assisted engineering tools.

Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working in hyperscale cloud, ISP, or large enterprise networking environments.
• Strong understanding of modern data center networking architectures.
• Experience with routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, MPLS, IPv4, IPv6, TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Hands‑on experience with commodity Ethernet platforms, including Broadcom and NVIDIA/Mellanox‑based hardware.
• Experience with Internet peering, backbone networking, and large‑scale network operations.
• Proficiency with Python or another programming language used for network automation.
• Experience with network automation frameworks and APIs.
• Familiarity with YANG, OpenConfig, NETCONF, gNMI, and model‑driven networking.
• Experience with telemetry, observability, network monitoring, and performance analysis.
• Knowledge of network security principles and high‑availability architectures.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Experience using AI‑assisted engineering tools (such as Oracle AI, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, or similar) to improve software development, automation, documentation, and operational efficiency.

• Building and operating hyperscale cloud networks.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $91,400 - $187,000 per year. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
