Job summary

Intelliswift, an LTTS company, is seeking a Senior Network Design Engineer/Architect to own design, implementation and optimization of internal networks onsite in Milpitas, CA. The role involves planning, vendor comparisons, cost analyses and hands-on network deployment across data center fabrics.

Required skills include Cisco Catalyst switches, Arista experience, and in-depth TCP/IP routing, QoS and WAN/LAN design. This is a 12-month contract, 100% onsite, with a pay rate of $71.42/hr.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, QoS, Multicast, and Network Design.

Job Title: Senior Network Design Engineer/Architect

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Location: Milpitas, CA/Onsite

Pay Rate: $71.42/hr

100% onsite position

Position Summary:

Operates a company's internal data communications systems, including LANs and/or WANs. Plans, designs and implements networked systems, including configurations, supporting/troubleshooting network problems and coordinating with vendors for installation of such items as routers, bridges, concentrators and switches. Works on project implementation. Provides training and assists with proposal writing. Conducts project planning, cost analysis and vendor comparisons.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in Cisco Catalyst 9000/3850/9300/9500 series switches.
• Hands‑on experience with Arista, and Data Center architectures.
• Advanced knowledge of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, Routing & Switching, QoS, Multicast, and Network Design.
• Experience with SD-WAN, Data Center Fabric, VXLAN EVPN, and Spine-Leaf architectures.
• Strong troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis skills.

Certifications Preferred:

• CCNP Enterprise
• CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure (preferred/highly desirable)
• Arista ACE (Associate/Professional) certification is an added advantage.
