  • Hands‑on experience (or strong familiarity) with one or more of: Cisco, Arista, Cumulus Linux.
  • “Deep technical knowledge of BGP and IP routing, along with strong understanding of EVPN/VXLAN leaf‑spine or Clos/fat‑tree architectures, routing policy, segmentation, and multi‑tenant networking.”
  • Security experience including hands‑on work with Palo Alto firewalls, enterprise firewall policy, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with load balancers (e.g., F5, Citrix) and how they integrate into enterprise network services.
  • Proficiency in Linux for troubleshooting, tooling, and deploying/operating network services; comfort with packet capture tools (e.g., Wireshark).
  • Demonstrated ability to automate workflows (at least medium proficiency) using Python and automation frameworks such as Ansible/Salt, plus strong communication and multi‑project ownership.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • CCNP/CCIE or comparable advanced industry certifications.
