Job summary

Base One Technologies in Arlington, VA is seeking a Network Based Systems Analyst - IV Senior to join our CDNA team on a hybrid contract basis. You will assist the Government lead in coordinating incident response investigations and interface with the customer on site.

Candidates must hold an active TS/SCI clearance and be able to obtain DHS Suitability. 8+ years of directly relevant experience and deep knowledge of CND policies, TCP/IP protocols, and network topology are required to analyze

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance required.
8+ years of directly relevant network investigations experience.
Deep knowledge of CND policies, procedures, and regulations.
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, ICMP, HTTP/S, DNS, SSH, SMB, NFS, etc.

Responsibilities

Assists Government lead in coordinating teams during preliminary incident response investigations.
Interfaces with the customer on site.
Determines appropriate actions in response to identified anomalous network activity.
Assesses network topology and configurations for security concerns and best practices.
Collects network intrusion artifacts to enable mitigation of potential incidents.
Analyzes malicious network activity to identify exploitation methods and effects on systems.
Collects and analyzes network device integrity data for signs of tampering or compromise.
Supports real-time CND incident handling, forensic collections, and threat analysis.
