Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Cloud Testing Engineer with deep expertise in IPv6 and hands-on experience across public cloud infrastructures including AWS, Azure, and GCP. The ideal candidate will lead the development of lab testing frameworks, validate dual-stack networking performance, and ensure compliance with IPv6 readiness standards. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, certify, and pilot solutions in enterprise and cloud-native environments.
Responsibilities
- Develop lab testing frameworks and validate IPv6 and dual-stack networking performance.
- Design test strategies and ensure compliance with IPv6 readiness across public clouds.
- Coordinate with teams to gather certification requirements and translate them into detailed test plans.
- Execute test plans in live lab environments and troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues.
- Manage code/platform lifecycle and provide solutions to technical challenges.
- Translate business requirements into network needs and provide escalation support.
- Document exposure/impact of bugs and present solutions to ENS forum.
- Assist operations in piloting validated solutions in production environments.
- Drive IPv6 validation across multi-cloud and hybrid cloud infrastructures.
- Develop test automation frameworks using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
- Test network DMZ designs and certify hardware/software features.
- Enhance network security posture through rigorous testing.
- Identify communication scenarios and oversee testing, data gathering, and analytics.
- Prepare design and deployment templates.
- Collaborate with infrastructure engineers, architects, and senior management across verticals.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in LAN/WAN network design, engineering, and feature testing/certification.
- 8+ years of experience in network routing and switching design.
- 4+ years of experience with Cloud PaaS/IaaS (Azure, AWS).
- 4+ years of experience in lab design, hardware/software certification, and PoCs.
- Deep understanding of Cisco platforms (IOS-XE, XR, NXOS).
- Strong knowledge of network hygiene, security, and availability best practices.
- Experience in network security, hardening, and modern testing practices.
