Job summary

ITC Federal, Inc. is seeking a Senior Network Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated network solutions across multi-cloud and on-premises environments.

You will drive provisioning automation and advanced Cisco IOS configurations while integrating with CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years of Cisco networking experience, strong Python and Bash scripting skills, and hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform in DevOps settings.

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience in network administration, automation, or related roles with senior-level responsibility.
• Required Cisco experience with hands-on production-level configuration, troubleshooting, and operation.
• Strong automation coding background with production-quality code (e.g., Python, Ansible).
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, Engineering or related field strongly preferred; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network automation solutions to streamline provisioning, configuration, and management.
• Automate Cisco IOS-based device configuration, provisioning, and change management.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and workflows using Python, Bash, Ansible, Terraform.
• Integrate network automation with CI/CD pipelines to accelerate deployment and updates.
• Implement SDN/NFV and cloud-native networking to support scalable architectures.
• Collaborate with cloud and DevOps teams for multi-cloud compatibility.
• Monitor and troubleshoot automation pipelines and network provisioning workflows.
• Document automation workflows, standards, and best practices.
