Job summary

Toyota Material Handling North America (TMHNA) is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, secure, and support an enterprise network including LAN/WAN/WLAN, data center, and SD-WAN. You will collaborate with leadership to deliver scalable infrastructure solutions and maintain detailed network diagrams.

The role requires 7+ years in network design and security, 4+ years with Fortinet Security Fabric, and strong routing/switching expertise.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or technical institute degree/certificate or equivalent work experience.
7+ years’ experience in LAN/WAN/WLAN and network security.
4+ years’ experience in Fortinet Security Fabric (switching, routing, firewall and wireless)
Expert knowledge of routing, switching, MPLS, VPN and SDWAN.
Solid networking knowledge (OSI model, TCP/IP).

Responsibilities

Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
Monitor network performance and integrity
Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness
Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems
Maintain complete technical documentation
Suggest improvements to network/server performance, capacity and scalability
Creating and implementing network security measures
Implement, administer, and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including wireless access points, firewall, routers, switches, controllers
Create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems
Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures
Replacing faulty hardware components when required
Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made
Coordinating computer network access and use
Perform all core duties of a systems administrator, including maintaining and modifying operating systems and security
Strictly adhere to system security policies and standards
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
