Job summary

CACI seeks a Senior Network Engineer to modernize base networks, spanning wired/wireless, data centers, and WAN. You will lead design, deployment, and secure architecture efforts on a high‑profile Air Force modernization program.

Applicants should have a Secret clearance and 7+ years in enterprise network roles, with Cisco platforms and SDN experience preferred. The role includes up to 25% travel and onsite work in High Point, NC.

Qualifications

• Must currently hold U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT/Engineering.
• 7+ years in enterprise network engineering or architecture roles.
• DoD 8140 IAT II Baseline Certifications: Security+ CE or SSCP; CCNA.
• Experience with Cisco/enterprise networking platforms and tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, deployment, and optimization of network modernization.
• Design secure, scalable wired/wireless architectures with high availability.
• Support campus, data center, WAN, and remote site connectivity modernization.
• Develop network design docs, implementation plans, tests, artifacts.
• Perform assessments, gap analyses, and evaluations of existing infra.
• Engineer and integrate routing, switching, security, and services.
• Support migrations and cutover with minimal operational impact.
• Troubleshoot complex performance/interoperability issues across vendors.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams on ZTA and network segmentation.
• Participate in architecture reviews and roadmap recommendations.
• Support automation/orchestration via IaC and scripting.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead project execution.
