Job summary

CBTS seeks a senior network professional to lead design and deployment of enterprise-wide networks in the Northeast US, with emphasis on Meraki wireless, Cisco ISE and SD-WAN. The role involves building new network sites, creating scalable standards, and coordinating with vendors and clients across multiple locations.

Responsibilities include designing large-scale WANs, Wi‑Fi, and campus networks, producing detailed docs, and guiding lab trials and deployments.

Qualifications

• Requires CCNP or higher certification.
• At least 10 years designing, deploying, and documenting Cisco WAN/LAN for large enterprises.
• Expertise with Cisco Meraki Wireless & Switching.
• Experience with SD-WAN platforms including Palo Alto/ Zscaler/ Fortinet.
• Direct experience implementing/managing Cisco SD-WAN/Viptela/Fortinet solutions.

Responsibilities

• Understand client requirements and provide technical leadership in development of network solutions.
• Design, build/expand and implement large-scale wide-area, campus and Wi-Fi networks.
• Create repeatable processes, detailed documentation, and technology standards for enterprise networks.
• Review, document, identify issues and recommend best practices for existing solutions.
• Work with vendors and building managers on new facilities requirements and designs.
• Design and order network hardware / develop a bill of materials based on standards.
• Occasionally work onsite in customer lab in West Chester, OH configuring and testing network solutions.
• Interface with the customer on all technical matters of lab trials, testing and deployments.
• Review complex scripting, planning and execution of network Change Management process.
• Work and collaborate within an Agile team of network engineers.

A senior network professional with extensive expertise in complex, enterprise-wide network environments with a heavy focus on Meraki wireless, Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE) and SD-WAN technologies. Much of the work is designing and building new network sites across the Northeast United States.

• Understand client requirements and provide technical leadership in the development of innovative network solutions.
• Design, build/expand and implement large-scale wide-area, campus and WI-FI networks.
• Create repeatable processes, detailed documentation, and technology standards to be used at scale to develop and evolve enterprise network technologies.
• Review, document, identify issues and recommend best practices for existing solutions and services.
• Work with vendors and building managers on any new facilities requirements and designs.
• Design and order network hardware / develop a bill of materials based on documented standards and templates.
• Occasionally work onsite in customer lab in West Chester, OH configuring, physically installing, and testing network solutions.
• Interface with the customer on all technical matters of lab trials, testing and deployments.

Required skills:

• Demonstrated proficiency in implementing/managing enterprise wireless networks:
• Preferred candidates who have proficiency with Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE).
