Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co. is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer in Chantilly, Virginia. The role involves evaluating and maintaining a large-scale network project, requiring strong skills in network infrastructure management and optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong documentation skills including updating JIRA Tickets.
• Ability to communicate with end users and cross-organizational staff.
• CWNA Certification or equivalent.
• BCNE Certification or equivalent.
• Experience utilizing RF site survey tools.
• Strong knowledge of layer 2 switching and layer 3 routing protocols.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing.
• Working knowledge of Agile/SCUM project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage and improve NPS network infrastructure.
• Document network infrastructure and procedures.
• Assess the NPS network infrastructure for improvements.
• Implement security patches and updates.
• Provide design guidance on network solutions.
