Job summary

Saalex Corp. is looking for a Network Engineer IV in San Diego, CA, to design, implement, and maintain secure network architectures for the Navy. Applicants should have 8–12 years in network engineering, a relevant bachelor's degree, and experience with routing, switching, and security protocols. The position offers a salary range of $115k-$185k depending on experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package such as healthcare and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 8–12 years of experience in network engineering or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Networking, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience with network technologies including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs.
• Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs.
• Relevant certifications depending on level.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead design of enterprise network solutions including LAN/WAN, SDN.
• Oversee integration of advanced network technologies and security controls.
• Lead resolution of complex network issues and drive modernization initiatives.
• Develop network standards, policies, and engineering best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to teams.
