Corebridge Financial in Houston hires a Senior Network Design Engineer to design, engineer, and plan enterprise network solutions across data center, WAN, SD‑WAN, SD‑LAN, LAN, Wi‑Fi, and security domains in a regulated financial services environment.

The role collaborates with architecture, security, cloud, and operations teams to translate business requirements into resilient, scalable designs and to oversee implementation planning, risk reviews, and operational handoff for long‑term stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent enterprise network experience.
• Advanced networking certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, Aruba, Arista, Juniper or cloud networking preferred.
• 10+ years designing, engineering, deploying, or supporting enterprise network solutions.
• 5+ years as a senior network design engineer or technical lead.
• Experience in regulated financial services environments preferred.
• Hands-on expertise in SD‑WAN, SD‑LAN, and data center fabrics.
• Knowledge of Cisco ACI, Arista, Aruba, Meraki, Juniper, Alkira, and related platforms.
• Strong fundamentals in routing, switching, BGP, DDI, high availability, and ZTNA.

Responsibilities

• Assess requirements and identify practical network solutions with cost and risk analysis.
• Develop design-to-deployment plans meeting scope, schedule, and resiliency goals.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues using telemetry, packet analysis, and monitoring dashboards.
• Create design governance, diagrams, and documentation for operations readiness.
