Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a seasoned Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on L2/L3 switching and security. You will automate provisioning and troubleshooting, manage performance across data center and campus, and document architectures.

Candidates should have 5+ years in network engineering, hands-on automation skills, and familiarity with major platforms (Dell/Cisco/Arista/Juniper).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of network engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 switching, VLANs, VRRP, STP, routing.
• Hands-on with Python, Ansible, REST APIs; network automation.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and security fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (L2/L3).
• Develop and implement network automation to streamline provisioning and troubleshooting.
• Manage performance, availability, and security across data center and campus.
• Automate routine operations using scripting and orchestration tools.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues and perform root-cause analysis.
• Maintain up-to-date network documentation and diagrams.
• Participate in change management, incident response, and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with Python/Ansible and REST APIs for network programmability.
