Job summary

IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator to support DHS CISA’s CI-ISE and HSIN-CI platform environments. The role is based in Arlington, VA with a full-time on-site schedule and no remote work.

Responsibilities include architecting and managing complex networks, leading cloud provisioning, and ensuring compliance with federal security standards. Eight+ years of experience and relevant certifications are required; U.S. citizenship is preferred.

Qualifications

IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Network and Computer Systems Administrator to support DHS CISA’s CI-ISE and HSIN-CI platform environments.

Work Location: Arlington, VA / National Capital Region. Schedule: Full Time 40 hours per week; 8 hours per day (remote work is not authorized). Relocation: No.

Job Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and manage complex systems and network infrastructures for the CI-ISE and HSIN collaboration platforms.
• Lead cloud infrastructure provisioning, hybrid environment management, and platform integration to ensure high system availability and uptime.
• Ensure all infrastructure components strictly adhere to federal security and compliance frameworks, including FedRAMP, NIST guidelines, and DHS 4300A policies.
• Lead cross-platform integration efforts, ensuring secure data flow between HSIN-CI, HSIN-Cyber, and HSIN-ES environments.
• Perform ongoing infrastructure performance optimization, monitoring network health, and resolving high-priority system incidents within stringent PWS timelines (e.g., within 24 hours).
• Collaborate with software developers and web administrators to deploy technical upgrades and maintain data accuracy, structure, and accessibility.

Required Skills, Competencies and Abilities:

• Expert-level understanding of systems architecture, network design, and hybrid cloud implementations.
• Proven ability to execute cloud infrastructure and platform integration within secure federal environments.
• Deep knowledge of federal security and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).
• Strong capability in cross-platform integration and infrastructure performance optimization.

Experience and Technical Knowledge (Required):

• Minimum of eight (8) years of systems engineering or network administration experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting cloud or hybrid infrastructure environments.

Certifications:

• Industry-recognized certification (e.g., AWS, Azure, Security+, or CISSP) is highly preferred.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.

Education and General experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Security Clearance Requirements:

Must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability / Public Trust or Entry on Duty (EOD) approval. Per federal requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this level of clearance.
