Job summary

Seakeeper, Inc. seeks a Sr. NetSuite Administrator & Architect to own end-to-end NetSuite architecture, including modules, data model, custom records, and how it fits as we scale.

You will determine integration patterns and set standards that endure upgrades, ensuring stability and scalability of the ERP platform. You'll drive integration design, API governance, security, release management, and data integrity while maintaining documentation and a strong partnership with finance, operations, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Accounting, or related field (8+ years ERP considered).
• 5+ years administering NetSuite in production, incl. 2+ as senior/lead admin.
• Manufacturing or physical-product experience with BOMs, MRP, work orders, warranty.
• Experience reading SuiteScript and workflows; able to judge what others build.

Responsibilities

• Own NetSuite architecture end-to-end — modules, data model, custom records, and how it fits as we grow.
• Lead multi-year technical roadmap with product owner: what we adopt, retire, build.

As our Sr. NetSuite Administrator & Architect,you'llown both sides of it: the hands-on administration (security, configuration, data integrity, releases) and the design authority over where it goes next. The businessidentifieswhat'sneeded, and you decide how the platform delivers it–accountable for keeping it stable, well-documented, and built to scale as we grow. Youwon'tbe one admin among several, and youwon'tspend your day buried in a ticket queue.You'llhave real autonomy over how our ERP platform is designed and run, and real accountability for making sure that work outlasts any one person.You'llmake an immediate impact by:

Platform Architecture & Roadmap

• Owningthe NetSuite architecture end to end — the module landscape, the data model, custom record design, and how it all fits together as we grow

• Owningthe multi-year technical roadmap alongside our product owner: what we adopt, what we retire, what we build

• Leadingevery "how should this be built" call — configuration vs. customization, module choice, integration pattern — documented before anyone writes a line of code

• Holdingthe line on configure-before-customize; every customization is a future upgrade cost that needs a reason that survives review

• Settingthe technical standards our NetSuite contractors and integration vendors build to, andreviewingwhat they deliver

Integration & API Management

• Definingthe integration architecture around NetSuite — the patterns, contracts, and standards every connected system is held to, from warehouse platforms to payment processors to customer-facing apps

• Owningthe NetSuite side of every integration: endpoints,RESTlets,SuiteTalk, authentication, field mappings, error handling

• GoverningAPI access — who connects, with what credentials, under what rate and volume expectations — and build the monitoring that catches failures before the business does

Security & User Administration

• Designingandmaintainingroles, permissions, and segregation of duties across the platform

• Maintainingrestricted access to sensitive financial and employee data, andauditingaccess on a defined cycle

• Holdingadmin-level access as one of a small, trusted few — and govern who else gets it

System Configuration & Enhancement

• Configuringforms, fields, records, workflows, and approval routings

• Enablingandmaintainingmodules across finance, inventory, manufacturing, quality, warranty, HRIS, CRM, and commerce

• Automatingmanual work with native functionality first — script is the last resort, not the first instinct

Release & Change Management

• TestingNetSuite's semiannual releases against our critical processes and coordinate the schedule with Oracle ACS

• Owningthe production gate: nothing deploys without documented requirements, a test script, and business sign-off.

• Runningimpact analysis before every release, andvalidateevery customization and integration after

Platform Health, Performance & Recoverability

• Monitoringscript efficiency, governance limits, and response times — andplan aheadfor growth in volume and storage

• Owningour data backup and export strategy: SaaSdoesn'tprotect you from a bad mass update, and we need a tested way back

• Creatingdocumented recovery procedures — what we restore, how, and how fast

Data Integrity & Automation

• Maintainingmaster data integrity across items, BOMs, customers, vendors, and employees

• Designingand drivingautomation of high-volume, repetitive data work so the team handles exceptions instead of drowning in volume

• Supportingdata migration during acquisitions and system implementations

Reporting & Analytics

• Buildingandmaintainingthe saved searches, dashboards, and KPIs most of the company uses to seewhat'sactually happening— day in, day out

• SupportingSuiteAnalyticsand our Power BI reporting layer

Business Partnership & Support

• Spottingefficiency opportunities across finance, ops, sales, manufacturing, and HR, and turn them into real system improvements

• Servingas the primary liaison to Oracle ACS and NetSuite Support — the case queue, the relationship, the development-hours budget, all of it

Documentation & Knowledge Sharing

• Documentingevery configuration decision, customization, and integration you own — including the reasoning behind it

• Cross-trainingteammates deliberately, ensuring documentationisn'tan afterthought

MUST-HAVES

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Accounting, or a related field(8+ years of progressiveERPexperience will be considered in place of a degree)

• 5+ years administering NetSuite in a production environment, including 2+ as the senior or lead administrator

• Manufacturing or physical-product environment experience — BOMs, MRP, work orders, warranty

• Demonstrated ownership of the NetSuite security model — role design, permissions, segregation of duties, sensitive-data access

• Experience running NetSuite release cycles and sandbox-to-production change management

• Ability to read and evaluateSuiteScriptand workflows — youdon'thave to be the primary developer, but youhave tobe able to judge what others build

• Hands-on experience integrating NetSuite with other business systems, including the API surface (SuiteTalk,RESTlets), authentication, and monitoring

• Experience protecting a business-critical SaaS platform: backup strategy, version control, documented recovery

• A track recordof working directly with finance, operations, and manufacturing stakeholders and translating what they need into system design

• Proven hands-on experience across NetSuite configuration,roleand permission design, at least one of manufacturing/inventory/order-to-cash at scale, saved searches and dashboards, master data management, sandbox strategy, integration platforms, API governance, and performance management

NICE-TO-HAVES

• NetSuite certification —SuiteFoundation, Certified Administrator, ERP Consultant, orSuiteAnalytics

• SuiteCommerceAdvanced or dealer/partner portal exposure

• Experience managing an Oracle ACS relationship or equivalent managed-services engagement

• Exposure to a CRM or HCM implementation running alongside NetSuite

• This position is on-site, based at our Leesport, PA or Fort Myers, FL location

• You'llwork closely with our business systems analysts, our NetSuite developer, our integration platform team, and our software engineering team.

• Up to 10-15% travel to other Seakeeper locations is possible with this role
