CareerNerds, LLC is seeking an experienced Field Technician to test, inspect, and maintain power distribution equipment across Florida and the Southeast. You will perform acceptance testing, troubleshoot high- and low-voltage gear, and support start-ups and outages.

Travel 50–75% and overnight stays are required. A valid driver's license and NETA certification are essential, with mentorship responsibilities for junior techs as needed.

Formación

• NETA Level II/III/IV certification required.
• 2–5+ years field testing experience.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E and OSHA safety practices.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% and overnight stays.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsabilidades

• Test, inspect and troubleshoot low, medium and high voltage equipment: switchgear, breakers, transformers and cable.
• Run acceptance and maintenance testing to NETA standards and write clear test reports.
• Do start-ups and commissioning on new installs, and respond to outages and emergencies.
• Lead or mentor junior techs on the job (Level III/IV).
