Job summary

Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced field technician to test, inspect, and troubleshoot power distribution equipment for industrial and utility customers across Florida and the Southeast.

You will conduct acceptance and maintenance tests to NETA standards, write clear reports, perform start-ups and commissioning on new installs, respond to outages, and mentor junior techs on the job. This role requires travel 50–75% and overnight work as needed.

Qualifications

• NETA Level II/III/IV certification required.
• 2–5+ years of field testing experience.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E and OSHA safety practices.
• Willingness to travel 50–75% and work overnight out of town.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Test, inspect and troubleshoot power distribution equipment in the field.
• Run acceptance and maintenance testing to NETA standards and write clear test reports.
• Perform start-ups and commissioning on new installs and respond to outages.
• Mentor junior technicians on the job (Level III/IV).
