Job summary

Value Innovation Labs in the New York City area is seeking an experienced Application Developer 2 to support full lifecycle development for eligibility, recertification, employment/work engagement, claims, and other business applications.

You will design system specifications, develop .NET web applications, Web Services, WCF, and API-based apps, and handle both front-end and back-end development while configuring databases, servers, security, networks, and storage.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of .NET development experience.
• Experience with front-end and back-end web app development.
• Experience designing system design specifications.
• Experience with enterprise application environments.
• Exposure to mainframe, mid-range, PC environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop system design specifications and detailed solution designs
• Design, develop, test, maintain, and enhance .NET web applications
• Develop Web Services, WCF, and API-based applications
• Handle both front-end and back-end web application development
• Develop database, server, security, network, storage, and software configurations
• Create structured diagrams and detailed system operation designs
• Design reports, audit trails, logs, and security mechanisms
• Prepare technical, user, operational, and installation documentation
• Work with managers, senior programmers, support teams, and product managers on application enhancements and changes
• Troubleshoot application, database, and IT issues and provide technical assistance
• Assist with software conversions, testing, implementation, and production support
• Provide programming assistance to other developers and projects as required
