Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC is seeking a seasoned contractor to design, implement, and optimize .NET applications within a government IT environment. You will leverage SQL, C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, and Power Apps/Power Automate while coordinating with the IT office and agency teams to deliver robust database solutions.

The role requires strong client-facing skills, enterprise data modeling experience, and the ability to work across environments with Git, Azure DevOps, and agile practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience writing and debugging SQL queries.
• 7+ years’ experience in C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, .NET coding and Oracle/MS-SQL Server.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• 5+ years working with Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Client-facing experience in a consulting environment with mid-level to senior leadership.
• 4+ years’ experience in Government IT environments.
• Analytical, conceptual and problem- solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple parallel assignments and milestones.
• Advanced knowledge of networking, data warehousing, and relational databases.
• Minimum degree: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.

Responsibilities

• This includes proposing system improvements, testing in simulations, preparing user manuals, and system maintenance.
• The contractor will support MVC App and MS Power Apps with strong C#/ASP.NET Core/MVC knowledge.
• Create, deploy and migrate Power Apps and Power Automate solutions across environments.
• Proficient in Git version control (GitFlow), PRs, code reviews and Azure Boards for Agile planning.
• Assist in troubleshooting and advancing .NET applications (AIM) and SQL databases.
• Review for efficiencies, interfaces, workflows, metadata, permissions, and agency databases.
• Write complex SQL (Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, Joins) and T‑SQL DBA skills.
• Model data, create databases and design architectures aligned with enterprise goals.
• Provide technical expertise to diagnose issues and implement workarounds meeting performance needs.
• Collaborate with IT Office and Administration to propose database and reporting solutions.
• Develop a catalog of active databases, structures and owners with documentation.
• Travel to the agency may be required; potential site visits to Fort Indiantown Gap, Annville.
