Job summary

PetDesk, LLC. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys finding and fixing bugs. You’ll work on our customer-facing web app and internal tools, taking issues from report to tested production fixes.

This is a hands-on coding role with real ownership. You’ll reproduce issues locally, identify root causes, implement fixes in C# or JavaScript/TypeScript, add tests, and push changes through code review. Expect a mixed codebase with older server-rendered pages, React components, legacy jQuery,

Qualifications

• 4+ years debugging and writing code in software development, application support, or Tier 3 technical support.
• Backend: read and debug C# in ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Core apps.
• Frontend: debugging React and JavaScript/TypeScript, older jQuery, and Razor templates.
• Databases: solid SQL skills (SQL Server preferred; PostgreSQL OK), ORM data models.
• Git: branching, PRs, reviewing changes, and using history/blame for investigation.
• Ownership: organized, accountable, and able to see tickets through to completion.
• Communication: explain technical findings clearly in Jira tickets and PRs.

Responsibilities
