Job summary

Matco Tools, a Vontier Corporation subsidiary, seeks an experienced software development lead to design, implement, and mentor on web applications using .NET Core, C#, React, and Azure services. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in a hybrid role based in Stow, Ohio or remote within the US.

You will guide architecture, perform estimates, review designs, and ensure timely delivery while mentoring junior developers and coordinating with QA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in web application development with .NET Core and React.
• Experience with microservices, Azure cloud services, and CI/CD.
• Proven ability to estimate and lead major enhancements and projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, troubleshoot, and maintain web applications.
• Lead and coordinate software development activities.
• Provide technical leadership to the team and outside consultants.
• Perform code reviews and low-level design reviews.
• Collaborate with client product owners and leadership to gather requirements.
• Deliver on project timelines and manage scope, resources, and risks.
• Mentor developers and drive quality across QA partnerships.
• Present technical solutions to client leadership.
• Ensure quality of delivery and adherence to standards.
• Support deployment and operational stability in Azure environment.
