NIVA Digital is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to maintain and modernize our core platform on-site in Aurora, US. You will manage our .NET and SQL Server stack and lead migration toward a scalable microservices architecture.

The role focuses on breaking monoliths into distributed services, designing scalable APIs, and implementing containerization for deployment optimization, while balancing legacy systems with modern cloud-native patterns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of professional full stack software development experience.
• Proven track record of migrating legacy codebases to microservices.
• Strong communication skills for collaborating across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• System Modernization: Break down monolithic .NET applications into distributed microservices.
• Design scalable APIs and event-driven communication patterns.
• Implement containerization tools to optimize deployment workflows.
• Backend Engineering: Maintain and optimize existing .NET Framework and .NET Core applications.
• Write complex, high-performing SQL queries, stored procedures, and schemas.
• Diagnose and resolve database bottlenecks to ensure high availability.
• Ensure seamless integration between frontend UI and backend microservices.
