Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 in the United States to contribute to AI-powered digital transformation projects for services, utilities, energy, and resources sectors. You will drive requirements elicitation, design discussions, and coding efforts across SDLC phases, ensuring system stability while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on coding, test strategy, documentation, and knowledge sharing. Travel may be required, and relocation is possible.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies: C#, .NET, WCF, XAML, .NET Core, Angular, HTML5.
• Preferred: Web APIs and design patterns such as MVC/MVP.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2017.
• Experience tuning applications for performance; Stored Procedure programming skills.
• Exposure to cross-location teams and ability to work independently with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting assigned business requirements.
• Facilitate software design discussions and document design decisions for the technical team.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features into existing applications while maintaining stability.
• Conduct code reviews, make changes to codebase, and maintain repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks for new software.
• Resolve production issues and propose preventive strategies to improve reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities.
