Job summary

Citi is hiring a Senior .NET Full Stack Developer for a hybrid role based in Pune, India. You will work on C#, .NET, .NET Core, and Angular 16+ with REST APIs and microservices, building scalable solutions and driving quality through tests and logging.

You will engage in releases, collaboration with global teams, and maintenance of Citi applications, while applying best practices in DI, CI/CD, and performance. Bachelor’s degree required and 6+ years of experience.

• You have 6+ years of experience in developing & managing applications.

  C#: Advanced knowledge in object-oriented programming, LINQ, and asynchronous programming.
• .NET Framework & .NET Core (2+): Strong experience in building scalable, high-performance applications.
• ASP.NET Core: Expertise in developing RESTful APIs, middleware, and dependency injection.
• Entity Framework Core: Proficient in database-first and code-first approaches for data access.
• Microservices Architecture: Strong understanding of designing and implementing microservices using .NET Core.
• Windows Services: Experience in creating and managing background services.
• Unit Testing: Proficient in testing frameworks like xUnit, NUnit, and Moq for .NET applications.
• Dependency Injection: Expertise in implementing DI patterns for loosely coupled architecture.
• Logging: Experience with Serilog, NLog, and Microsoft.Extensions.Logging for application monitoring.
• You have strong experience in Rest API, Kafka/Messaging queue

On a typical day here is what you could do

• You will provide technical and business support for users of Citi Applications. This includes providing quick resolutions to app issues, driving stability, efficiency and effectiveness improvements to help us and the business succeed.
• You will act as a liaison between users/traders, interfacing internal technology groups and vendors and as an advisor or coach to new or junior analysts.
• You will participate in application releases, from development, testing and deployment into production. Perform post release checkouts after application releases and infrastructure updates. Develop and maintain technical documentation.
• You will maintain application systems that have completed the development stage and are running in the daily operations of the firm.
• You will manage, maintain and support applications and their operating environments, focusing on stability, quality and functionality against service level expectations.
