Job summary

Berkley Technology Services (BTS) in Urbandale, IA, is seeking a Sr Software Engineer to join the Sales & Marketing team. You will refactor, develop, and support C#/.NET solutions, modernize code, and build ETL workflows using SQL Server, Azure, and CI/CD.

Collaborating with Product Owners and stakeholders, you will ensure scalable, reliable software, participate in QA, and provide production support in a distributed team environment. This role is based on-site in Urbandale, IA.

Qualifications

Strong background in C#/.NET, SQL Server, Python, ETL and data integration, with 3+ years of software development experience.
Hands-on Azure cloud experience and modern CI/CD practices.
Experience with code reviews, PRs, and distributed/onshore/offshore collaboration.
Proven ability to engage stakeholders and deliver scalable, maintainable software.

Responsibilities

Refactor and modernize C#/.NET code to improve performance and maintainability.
Design, develop, test, and support Sales & Marketing applications.
Define development standards and patterns; enforce best practices.
Build enterprise data integrations and ETL pipelines; manage SQL Server databases.
Collaborate with product owners and teams; participate in QA and deployments.
