Job summary

TetraScience, Inc. is seeking a Senior .NET Engineer to design, build, and scale high-performance distributed applications using C#/.NET, TypeScript, and React.

You will implement automated testing and CI/CD with GitHub Actions, and work with AWS services to deliver cloud-native solutions. You will contribute to production debugging, observability, and performance optimization, collaborating closely with product managers and engineers to ship reliable, scalable software remotely or onsite as

Qualifications

• Strong backend development experience with C#/.NET.
• Proficient in TypeScript and React for frontend UI.
• Experience in cloud-native, multi-tenant environments and debugging in production.
• Hands-on AWS services in production (DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, Lambda).
• Experience with microservices patterns and API gateways.
• Automated testing across multiple levels and CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Strong troubleshooting and observability skills (OpenTelemetry, logging, tracing).
• Excellent collaboration and communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and maintain distributed applications for high performance and security.
• Develop backend services (C#/.NET) and front-end using TypeScript/React.
• Build and operate cloud APIs and modern UI apps.
• Design loosely coupled microservices in AWS (DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, Lambda, API Gateway).
• Create and maintain automated unit, integration, contract, and end-to-end tests.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for backend and frontend.
• Diagnose production issues and optimize performance and reliability.
• Instrument services with OpenTelemetry for observability and alerting.
