Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. in Rockville, MD, seeks a Senior .NET Developer to drive modernization and enterprise app development. You will lead design, integration, and delivery across multiple systems, shaping secure, high‑performance software for federal scientific and administrative communities.

You will mentor junior developers, promote best practices, and contribute to AI‑assisted tooling integration while working in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 1.5 years can substitute for 1 year of a typical degree program.
• 8+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying applications using C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core.
• 6+ years of experience with SQL Server, JavaScript frameworks, and enterprise integration patterns.
• 6+ years of experience with Agile/SCRUM development and version control (Git, TFS).
• Ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new features using C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, and modern architecture patterns.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements and end‑to‑end solution designs.
• Build scalable, secure, high‑performance enterprise applications.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple systems and integration layers.
• Support full SDLC: design, development, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
• Maintain and modernize existing applications while supporting new enhancements.
• Work across cross‑functional teams including product owners, QA specialists, and business stakeholders.
• Manage backlog items including new features, bug fixes, and modernization work.
