You will collaborate with Product and BA teams, translate business requirements into technical designs, and contribute to secure, well-documented, testable code while participating in support rotations and cross-functional efforts.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in agile/waterfall software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core & Web API and related Microsoft technologies (MS SQL Server, IIS, .NET framework, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, MVC, EF, Web Services, XML).
• Familiarity with cloud and modern development practices (CI/CD, security) and familiarity with AWS and cloud deployments.

Job Description:

This position reports to the IT Application Manager and is responsible for the design, development, deployment, and support of new and existing applications. The .NET developer will be part of an agile team and will work on developing and maintaining features for a suite of sites and services hosted on AWS cloud.

The .Net Developer will collaborate with the Product and BA teams to comprehend and evaluate business requirements, work with other developers on the development team to come up with technical design and create well document, testable, secure and scalable code to meet business requirements. The Developer will also participate in support rotations to monitor and support applications and provide resolution to support issues.

• Review and provide feedback to any required final user documentation
• Work cross-functionally with other team members: other engineers, testers, product owners, designers, Ops, customer support
• Partner with QA, DB, BA/PO and other dependent teams

Required Knowledge & Experience

• 8+ Experience developing software following an Agile and/or Waterfall methodology
• 8+ years hands-on software development work experience in C#, .Net, Asp. Net Core & Web API and related Microsoft technologies (MS SQL Server, IIS, .NET framework, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, MVC, EF, Web Services, XML)
• Demonstrated understanding and experience in EDI.
• Demonstrated understanding of SOLID design principles and software development best practices.
• Adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques utilizing programming skills and contribute to the technical code base including any required documentation
• Experience working on high volume large scale applications
• Familiarity with ORM frameworks
• Understanding of Cloud Native Architecture and principles.
• Familiarity with modern application practices like Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery

Expert in one or more of the following areas:

• Application/Middle Tier: WebAPI, WCF, Windows Service Applications, SOAP and RESTful Web Services
• Database Tier: Microsoft SQLServer 2012 or higher, T-SQL, Stored Procs, SSIS, Informatica
• ETL experience in Informatica or SSIS
• Knowledge of Application/Software Security, PCI, SOX, PII and other governance
• Knowledge or experience of AWS, Containers, Mulesoft and Serverless Components
• Experience with legacy application modernization is a plus

Pay Transparency

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $92,408-$171,125. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
