Job summary

Andworx seeks a Senior .NET Developer to shape mission-critical applications for a federal agency. You'll join an Agile team using ASP.NET, .NET Core/NET 6, MVC, EF, Oracle, and Azure DevOps to deliver enterprise web solutions that meet customer objectives.

The role requires 8–10 years of hands-on development experience, strong communication, and the ability to lead small teams. Two on-site days per week in Washington, DC metro area are required.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of experience developing enterprise level applications, preferably in a Federal Government environment.
• Hands-on experience with ASP.NET, .NET 6, .NET Core, C# .NET, MVC, MVVM and related patterns.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, JSON, XML web services and Oracle databases.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile Kanban/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to lead small teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise applications and support end-to-end software development in an Agile Microsoft code-base environment.
• Apply development standards, testing, and performance practices to deliver solutions.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to understand processes and requirements.
• Use agile techniques to prepare user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Participate in testing, packaging, and delivering software to production.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and improve applications based on user feedback.
• Use various scripting and programming languages to develop, test and deploy software solutions.
