Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking a senior Programmer 5 to drive the lifecycle of software projects, modernizing legacy apps into .NET-based solutions using C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, and SQL Server.

You will collaborate with supervisors, PMs, and development teams to enforce coding standards and best practices in an Agile environment; onsite 1 out of every 3 days in Columbus, OH. The role requires deep experience with SOA/WCF, TFS/Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of .NET web development experience, including ASP.NET Core MVC.
• 10+ years of ASP.NET development using C#.
• 10+ years of experience in SQL Server database design and development, including query optimization, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• 10+ years of experience with Entity Framework and .NET Framework 4.0 or higher.
• 10+ years of experience with TFS, code repository management, promotion, and recovery strategies.
• Strong experience with SOA / WCF and N-tier development and deployment environments.
• 5+ years of experience with Agile methodology, TFS / Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, SSRS, SSIS, Visual Studio, and mobile-compliant application development.
• 2+ years of experience with REST API, .NET Core / .NET 5, and TDD or application testing strategies.
• Must be an Ohio resident.

Responsibilities: Required Skills & Certifications

• 10+ years of experience with ASP.NET development using C#.
