Job summary

A technology solutions firm in Plano, TX is seeking a .NET Developer responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting existing .NET solutions. .NET Developer

Need Two hires for this position.

SUMMARY

The .NET Developer is primarily responsible for development, maintenance, and support for existing .NET solutions. Writing and coding existing internal programs to implement design changes and improvements, enhance integration with other systems, as well as testing, and deployment to suite ongoing business needs. This position involves development in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments as well as extensive communication with the development team and end users to design, document, develop, test, and deliver effective and efficient business solutions. This is an on-site (non-remote) position based at our Plano, TX headquarters location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (Include but are not limited to)

• Maintain, and upgrade Business Intelligence solutions including .NET solutions, ETL processes, SSRS reports, and ad-hoc queries
• Design and develops applications with clean, scalable code to automate and streamline specific business processes
• Works with business users to define and document requirements for data needs
• Identifies, communicates, and resolves data quality and data reconciliation issues
• Works with IT Infrastructure team to deploy solutions with necessary levels of security and provide technical support for applications
• Maintains objects and .NET code in change control management system – Team Foundation Server
• Participates team meetings as well as department meetings

Skills & Competencies

• Advanced knowledge and experience in web-based technologies – HTML5, CSS, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, etc.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining solutions using Microsoft technology stack including ASP.NET, C#, Entity Framework, WCF, etc.
• Very strong Oracle PL/SQL and Microsoft T-SQL experience with proven knowledge in writing complex SQL
• Oracle 9L/10G/11G and Microsoft SQL Server
• Reporting Services Integration Services design and development
• Performance tuning of new and existing applications and reports for optimum execution
• Ability to understand and document business requirements for conversion into effective and supportable solutions on schedule
• Successfully prioritize and execute multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent analytical, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills coupled with a strong work ethic
• Prior work experience in financial, accounting, or banking industry preferred
• Other duties as assigned
