Job summary

STEPS TALENT, LLC seeks a Sr. .NET Developer in Jacksonville, FL for a hybrid role (3 days onsite). The 6-month engagement focuses on building features using .NET Core, C# Web API, and modern JavaScript frontend. You will work with EF Core or Dapper and participate in agile teams across locations.

Ideal candidates have strong RESTful design, unit testing, and CI/CD experience, plus familiarity with Vue.js or similar frontend frameworks. Collaboration and code reviews are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of .NET / ASP.NET Core development experience.
• C# Web API proficiency with RESTful design.
• Experience with EF Core and/or Dapper.
• Frontend skills: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML/CSS; Vue.js preferred.
• Strong OOP and SOLID principles; unit testing and debugging.
• Git workflows, PRs and code reviews; CI/CD familiarity.
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Position: Sr. .NET Developer

Location: Jacksonville, FL (Hybrid -- 3 days onsite per week)

Duration: 6 Months (Extension Possible)

Skills/Experience Needed:

• .NET / ASP.NET Core --- 4 years of development experience
• C# Web API --- strong hands-on proficiency
• Entity Framework Core and/or Dapper
• JavaScript / TypeScript HTML/CSS
• Vue.js preferred, or experience with a similar frontend framework
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and RESTful API design
• Unit testing and debugging
• Git workflows, pull requests, and code reviews
• Familiarity with CI/CD
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Responsibilities:

• Develop new application features and screens while following development standards;
• Maintain and support existing solutions;
• Create unit tests and implement corrective actions;
• Participate in daily collaboration with teams based in different locations and provide daily/weekly activity reporting
