Job summary

Georgia Lottery Corporation seeks a software engineer to design, develop, maintain, and release web applications following best coding practices. The role requires strong .NET Core, WebAPI, Angular, and SQL Server experience, plus hands-on Azure DevOps.

You will produce quality code, review designs, and document technical work while collaborating with enterprise teams. A Bachelor's in Computer Science and MCPD preferred, with four years' proven .NET experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science required and MCPD certification preferred, with at least four years of proven experience in designing, developing and maintaining complex systems on the .NET platform using SQL Server as the backend database.
• Experience designing and developing service-oriented web applications using .Net Core, WebAPI
• Experience with Angular, .NET Core, Entity Framework Core
• Understanding of Web Services
• Experience performing continuous integration and continuous deployment using Azure DevOps

Responsibilities

• Develop software applications based on specifications.
• Provide production support for enterprise applications.
• Create/review technical design documentation.
• Developing and implementing quality code in line with acceptance criteria.
• Utilize source code management system (currently Azure DevOps).
• Fill out the necessary documentation for moving applications from different environments (Dev,QA and Production).
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Performs software analysis and evaluation.
• Provides problem resolutions, troubleshoots production discrepancies and abnormalities.
• Provides system and application support to GLC office and departments as necessary.
• Prepares, maintains and updates files and logs following prescribed methods.
