Job summary

Local First Arizona is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to modernize an enterprise transaction platform. You will design and build robust backend services using .NET Core and C#, collaborating with architects, cloud engineers, SQL developers, API developers and QA teams.

The role emphasizes microservices, modular architecture, REST APIs, and cloud integration with Azure, DevOps pipelines, and ETL data flows. Remote/hybrid options available for the Virginia area.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional application development experience using .NET Core and C#.
• Strong background in building REST APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience consuming SQL Server in Azure VM environments.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub for CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience integrating backend systems with ETL pipelines (SSIS or Databricks).

Responsibilities

• Backend & API Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance .NET Core backend services and REST APIs.
• System Modernization: Contribute to legacy system modernization using microservices and modular architecture.
• Data & Database Integration: Collaborate with SQL developers to implement data access patterns and ETL pipelines.
• Cloud & DevOps Integration: Integrate components with Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipelines.
• Agile Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Optimization & Quality: Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
