Ladders is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer - Workforce Integrations to drive secure, scalable integration solutions across workforce systems. You will own platform integration work, collaborating with product, support, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software in a cloud-based environment.

The role requires hands-on development, architectural thinking, and cross-functional collaboration with a focus on .NET technologies in a remote US-based setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in software design and architecture with a focus on .NET.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core; familiarity with Azure Cloud technologies is a plus
• Experience with multiple programming languages, such as Python, Go, and Erlang
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Familiarity with cloud security principles and best practices

Responsibilities

• Lead platform integration efforts as a senior engineer and technical owner
• Design and deploy scalable cloud-based applications using C# and .NET
• Maintain high standards of software quality and security through code reviews
• Collaborate with product management and customer support to incorporate user feedback
• Use Scrum processes to propose technical solutions with cross-functional teams
• Optimize applications and infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency
• Mentor other engineers and foster a culture of continuous learning
