Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented .Net/C# Developer to join our Veterans Affairs team on a full-time basis. The role emphasizes design, development, and maintenance of enterprise systems, with a strong focus on code quality and collaboration across IT and business units. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in .Net/C#, containerization, AWS, and DevOps experience, plus a willingness to work in a US-based remote environment.

U.S. Citizenship is required; a Public Trust is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
• 8+ years’ .Net experience and/or 8+ years’ C# experience.
• Expertise with Containerization and cloud-based architectures.
• Experience with SQL databases and Git version control.
• Proficient in AWS and JIRA; DevOps and large-scale Enterprise experience.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops computer systems or programs based on user requirements.
• Writes code, tests, and analyzes new application software.
• Performs code reviews and system maintenance/enhancements.
• Works independently with IT functional units and business units.
• Collaborates with remote U.S.-based teams within a DevOps environment.
