Job summary

Trigyn Technologies, Inc. in Albany, NY, seeks a .NET Developer/Architect to provide high-level design guidance for enterprise applications using .NET and ASP.NET MVC.

You will lead the modernization of legacy systems and set standards across UI, architecture, and development processes. The role requires extensive experience with C#, .NET Framework/Core, MVC, RESTful services, and front-end frameworks (React/Angular/Bootstrap).

Qualifications

• High-level design choices and standards including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.
• Guidance to large teams and extensive industry experience at the top of the field.
• 84 months experience developing multitier applications using OOP/SOA with data structures, algorithms, design patterns.
• 84 months experience with C# and .NET Framework (3.0+) and/or .NET Core MVC.
• 60 months experience ASP.NET MVC or ASP.NET Core MVC Web applications.
• 84 months converting legacy MS Access, VB, and Windows forms to modern .NET MVC apps.
• 72 months experience writing/consuming RESTful and non-RESTful Web services (ASMX, WCF, WebAPI).
• 36 months experience with React, Angular, Bootstrap frontend tech.
• 84 months SQL with procedures, views, complex queries in Oracle or SQL Server.
• 48 months deploying .NET apps to IIS.
• 48 months developing systems related to criminal justice/public safety/emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight on the analysis and design for enterprise applications using .NET and ASP.NET MVC.
• Guide development of applications throughout the SDLC, including redesign of legacy applications.
• Implement standards related to UI, development methodology, and coding/style guides.
• Develop and guide QA processes including code reviews, performance testing, and security scans.
• Identify and elevate technical risks and issues appropriately.
• Guide development activities including data analysis and logical database modeling.
• Prepare or review technical documentation such as system architectures and solution proposals.
