Job summary

Foundation Software is seeking a permanent, full-time Senior Application Developer to join our Northeast Ohio team in Strongsville. You will develop new features and maintain existing software, focusing on C#, .NET, and Windows development with WPF and WinForms, backed by SQL Server.

You will collaborate closely with a talented group of developers, participate in design, architecture, and code reviews, and contribute to agile planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Must understand and have practiced Agile Scrum development.
• Working experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud Platform.
• Working experience with distributed version control systems such as Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of API lifecycle management platforms.
• Strong Windows development experience (WPF/WinForms).
• 5 years of development experience with .NET Core Web API, C#, LINQ, SQL, Visual Studio, and Git.
• Experience with MS SQL Server, T-SQL, and database troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with REST, Azure components, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Develop new software services using C# / .NET / Web API / SQL Server / WinForms / WPF in Azure.
• Perform architecture and design activities.
• Mentor other developers and participate in code reviews.
